JOHN DEERE LANDSCAPES OPENS NEW 10-ACRE
ARLINGTON, TX BRANCH WITH ON-SITE NURSERY

John Deere Landscapes has recently opened a new 10-acre “one stop” landscape and irrigation supply center with on-site nursery in Arlington, Texas, midway between Fort Worth and Dallas.

The facility is located at 811 West Harris Road and the telephone number is 817-473-1235.

“This new center is strictly designed for contractor convenience,” said Claude Whitehead, regional vice president for John Deere Landscapes.

“Contractors will now find everything they need for a complete installation in one location. From irrigation and landscape supplies to outdoor lighting, nursery stock, water features, bricks, pavers, natural stone materials, tools and more – Arlington will have it,” said Whitehead.

“The adjoining nursery center features a wide choice of specimen trees, shrubs and seasonal color plants. Contractors can go directly to the nursery and tag the plants they need for a specific installation – while picking up other supplies at the same time,” he said.

The Arlington branch also offers expanded delivery services.

“Arlington has a larger delivery truck with portable forklift (or ‘donkey’) that will place pallets of sod, mulch, or other materials on job sites exactly where the contractor needs them,” said Whitehead.

John Deere Landscapes recently closed smaller branches in Arlington, Ft. Worth and Mansfield and transferred staff to the expanded Arlington center. Ron Barron is the new branch manager; he previously managed a smaller John Deere Landscapes location in Arlington.

“By offering customers a ‘one-stop center,’ we can help them use their time more efficiently, especially during the busy season,” said Whitehead.
